  1. Mix 1 teaspoon of multani mitti or Fuller’s earth clay, 1 tablespoon of water and a few drops of lemon juice. Apply it on the oily areas of the face and wash it off after 10 minutes.
  2. Mix 2 tablespoons of rice flour, green tea and lemon, and apply. This will be a thicker pack. Keep it for 15 minutes and scrub gently before you wash it off. The exfoliating properties remove excess oil and take care of dark spots and pigmentation.
  3. Mix 2 tablespoons of olive oil, two tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice and a few drops of beer in a bowl and apply to the face. Wash off in 15 minutes. Try this once a week.
  4. Mix a pinch of turmeric, half-cucumber pulp and a teaspoon lemon juice. Apply on face for 15 minutes and wash off with warm water. You can also add egg white to this paste.

  1. If your skin suffers from pimples and scars, antibacterial and hydrating honey, pore-tightening egg white, and exfoliating egg yolks will help you get a great mask for the skin. Mix 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of raw honey and apply on the face. Wash it off after 10 minutes.
  2. Mix 2 tablespoons of cucumber juice with rose water and Fuller’s earth. Apply on face for 15 minutes and wash off with warm water.
  3. To lighten acne scars, mix 2 teaspoons of besan with 3 pinches of turmeric powder. Add some tomato pulp and mix it well. Add water if needed. Apply on the face and let it dry.
  4. Mix 2 tablespoons of besan (chickpea flour) and sufficient yoghurt to make a good paste. Apply it all over the face to keep pimples at bay.

Choose from these face packs for dry and sensitive skin:

  1. Add 1 tablespoon of oatmeal, a pinch of turmeric, 1 teaspoon of yogurt and a few drops of honey. Apply it on the face and wash it off after 10-15 minutes. This mask will banish dry areas of your face and make it glow.
  2. If you have dry skin, make a face pack by mixing banana, green tea and curd and apply. It will moisturise your skin and give it a natural glow.
  3. Mix a tablespoon of oats with cucumber pulp. To this mixture add honey or malai (milk cream). Apply on face for 15 minutes and wash with warm water.
  4. Mix 1 teaspoon milk, 1 teaspoon of (overnight soaked) almond paste, 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel and 1 tablespoon honey. Apply on the face, leave it on for 15 minutes, and rinse it with warm water.

Choose from these face packs for dry and ageing skin:

  1. Mature skin needs an extra boost of hydration. To banish fine lines and wrinkles, try this mask: 1 egg white, 1 tablespoon shredded carrots, and 1 teaspoon of aloe vera gel. Mix all the ingredients and apply it on the dry areas of the skin. Wash it off after 10 minutes.
  2. Soak masoor dal overnight in milk. Next morning, grind it into a paste, add a teaspoon of glycerine and few drops of almond oil. Apply it evenly on your face and body for 10-15 minutes before bathing, let it dry and wash it off with lukewarm water.
  3. Make a pack by mixing 1 teaspoon olive oil in 1 teaspoon papaya pulp. Apply this pack on your face and neck. Leave it on for 20 minutes, wash it off with cold water and then apply your regular moisturizer. Regular application of this pack will reduce visibility of wrinkles.
  4. Mix 2 teaspoon of ripe papaya pulp with 1 teaspoon of honey and half teaspoon of sandalwood. Mix it and apply on your face and neck, leave it for 15 minutes and rinse off with cold water.
